Import Restrictions
Items sent to Iran, including shipment to customers and companies, must comply with United Nations Resolutions on Iran "SOR/2007-44" and Special Economic Measures Iran Regulations SOR/2010-165.
Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:
firearms, weapons
medicines
parasites and insect killers
photographic apparatus
radio systems equiped as follows:single sideband, upper -sideband, lower sideband, beat frequency oscillator, continuous wave, air band, police band
radio systems equipped with an FM band having a frequency range of 76 to 87 MHz.
saccharine
used clothing.
Gifts
Gifts should weigh not more than 10 kg and are releasable up to the amount of 50 dollars. For gifts over the amount of $50, duties and taxes are applicable.
Prohibited Items
In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

rags made of any kind of textiles
subversive or immoral literature and items

textile fibres composed of artificial materials and rag fibres
rags made of any kind of textiles
tobacco and derivatives
toxic substances
trademarks, false or imitated
weapons
wireless apparatus.

In addition, Iran imposes import quotas and requires an import permit for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit.
The postal administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran does not accept ordinary or registered items containing money or other securities.
