Import Restrictions
An import permit is required for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit or a certificate of contingency issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:
alcohol and spirits
animals, animal products or fats and or vegetable fats
dairy products
essential oils
live bees, leeches, silkworms and parasites
mineral oils
pearls, precious stones and metals
powders
vinegars
wax and candles.
Prohibited Items
In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:
bio Products
communistic materials
drugs, non-prescription
items offensive to Muslim culture
inorganic chemicals
live animals
liquids
micro Film
passports
x-rays.
